ARK lighting magnetic LED retrofit strip kit is a long lasting and money-saving solution that retrofits traditional 2x4 fluorescent fixtures and ballasts. This kit offers high efficiency, eco-friendly, and simple magnetic installation. Environmentally preferable lighting which, unlike fluorescent lights, contains no mercury. Replaces both existing fluorescent bulbs and ballast.

The special thermally conductive magnet attaches the kit both physically and thermally to the troffer, becoming an actual component of the fixture, truly making it an LED fixture, as opposed to many other solutions that simply hang some sort of LED light component inside the troffer box. The entire body of the troffer becomes the heat sink for the LEDs, making them operate extremely cool, which dramatically extends their lifespan.

ARK LED retrofit kit can be installed by existing maintenance staff under 15 minutes. Pop off the ballast cover, disconnect power from the ballast, connect power to the LED driver, and plug the driver into the LEDs quick connects. The LEDs and the driver are magnetic backed, so they attach themselves to the troffer body.
